OPERATION

The product can be damaged if the gas cylinder is moved!
Entrained liquid phase can cause the pressure to increase in the LPG system and damage
the product or the LPG system.
Do not move the gas cylinder while the system is in operation.
Replacing cylinders with automatic changeover valve
If the operating gas cylinder is empty, the arrow on the changeover unit points to the gas
cylinder(s) on the empty operating side; the pressure gauge or visual indicator is on red
"spare":
1. Adjust the changeover unit with the arrow to the gas cylinder(s) on the spare side,
the pressure gauge or visual indicator changes from red "spare" to green "operation".
2. Close the cylinder valve on the empty operating side.
3. Loosen the connections on the cylinder valve.
4. Replace the empty cylinder with a full one and connect the full one
5. Open the cylinder valve.
6. Check for leaks.
7. The full cylinder is available as a spare.
Replacing cylinders with manual changeover unit
1. Close the cylinder valve on the empty operating side.
2. Close the gas feed on the changeover unit:
 turn the grip of the manual changeover valve to the spare cylinder side
 double shut-off block: close the hand wheels or turn the twist grips in the opposite
direction to the flow direction
3. Loosen the connections on the cylinder valve.
4. Replace the empty cylinder with a full one and connect the full one
5. Open the cylinder valve.
6. Check for leaks.
7. Open the gas feed on the changeover unit:
8. The full cylinder is available as a spare.
If the cylinder system is operated permanently without a reserve cylinder being
connected, the open connection on the automatic changeover valve must be closed tightly
with a sealing screw (part no. 50 410 31).
If re-assembling, change the gaskets.
Make sure that the gaskets sit properly in the mounting and that the screws are tightened.
Operation test device option
„CLOSED"

A leak tester can be connected to the operation test
device for pressure and leak tests.
• Close the gas supply to the connected consumption
equipment (e).
• Position the twist grip in the "CLOSED" position as
shown:
 No gas supply from the pressure regulator.
•  Should not be used to "block" the system.
• Unscrew the protective cap from the test connection.
• Screw the test hose with adapter onto the test
connection
