8.2.13 Cleaning dust and dirt from the compressor
To improve the cooling system, you should clean dust and dirt from all exterior
surfaces of the piston cylinder and the electric motor. Only use only cotton or linen
cloths to clean the system.
8.2.14 Maintaining the check valve
Service the check valve every 1200 hours or once a year. Clean the valve seat and
the valve itself of contamination:
1 Reduce the pressure in the pressure vessel to atmospheric air pressure level!
2 Loosen the hex screw.
3 Pull out the valve.
4 Clean the valve seat and valve.
5 Reinstall the valve in reverse order.
8.3 Install the protection equipment and other components after maintenance is
complete. Observe the instructions regarding initial start-up (Point 6.6).
8.4 Ensure that all maintenance work is carried out and recorded in the maintenance log
(Appendix F). This is a useful form with which to quickly check maintenance work,
which must be kept filled out for documentation purposes.
