- Programming from telephones
Allows to programm the decoders without needing to
access them, from the telephones themselves, once
connected. It can be done in two ways:
1: Manually. This makes possible to programm the
decoders individually, which requires two people, one
moving around the installation from telephone to
telephone, and the other one at the panel, assigning
the numbers.
2: Automatic. This makes possible to programm
sequentially the decoders, so only one person is
required.
In both cases, once this option has been selected, the
procedure is similar:
1. Enter the number of the first telephone to be
programmed.
2. Press the door-opening button of the telephone.
In the case of automatic mode, the MDS-Direct
Guard Unit will assign the address to that telephone
and will be ready to programm next one (unless
this number already exists).
Successively press the door-opening button of the
telephones you wish to programm sequentially re-
cord.
NOTE: If it is in manual mode, the current number
will be shown in the upper line of the display and
you will be asked to enter the new number in the
lower line. Enter the new number and press <B> to
validate.
Repeat this step with all the telephones you wish
to programme.
3. Press <B> when you have finished.
