POTENTIAL HAZARD
- Mowing on wet grass or on large slopes may cause slippage and loss of
control.
WHAT COULD HAPPEN
- Wheel drop over edges, ditches, steep shores or water - can lead to
overturning, which can cause serious injury, death or drowning.
HOW TO AVOID DANGER
- Do not mow on slopes when the grass is wet.
- Do not mow near steep slopes (graded) or near water.
- Do not mow on slopes that are greater than 15 degrees.
- Reduce speed and be extremely careful on slopes.
- Avoid sudden turning or sudden change in speed.
 Use only a manual timer near steep slopes, ditches, steep shores or water. Such
spaces may be dangerous, see Figure 1.
 As the inclination increases - so the attention must be progressively greater.
 Avoid sudden acceleration or stopping on a slope. If tire traction is lost, unplug
the blades and slowly move from the slope.
 Avoid sudden start when you mow uphill. The mower can overturn.
 Be aware that loss of traction can occur while you move downhill. The weight
transmitted to the front wheels can lead to it - drive wheels may slip and cause
the failure in braking or steering.
 Be careful about ditches, holes, stones, slopes, and acclivities - which change
the working angle, as the rough terrain can cause overturning of the unit.
 Be extremely careful with the grass collector or equipment. They can change
the stability of the unit and cause loss of control.
1.4.5 Stop the blades when transporting the mower to the mowing area and out of
it.
1.4.6 Never run a mower with defective shields, bumpers or lids. Make sure that
the protective bumpers, shields, switches and other means are in their places - and
in proper working condition.
1.4.7 DO NOT change engine settings or accelerate the engine. Working with an
engine at excessive speed can increase the risk of personal injury.
1.4.8 Disconnect the PTO before starting the engine.
