3.3 Engine maintenance
The engine is delivered without oil. Fill up to the appropriate level with SAE 10W-
30 or 10W-40.
4 3.2 OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions carefully, before operating the mower.
4.1 Before starting
Fill the fuel tanks. For best results, use only clean, fresh regular unleaded petrol
with octane number 87 or higher. Regular leaded petrol can also be used.
However, the combustion chamber and cylinder head will require a more
frequent service. See the user manual for the engine. Do not add oil to gasoline.
Do not overfill the tank.
Open the fuel tank shut-off valve.
Make sure that you understand the commands, their locations, their function,
their security requirements, and how to stop quickly.
POTENTIAL HAZARD
- Rotary blades under the mower housing are dangerous.
WHAT COULD HAPPEN
- Contact with the blade can cause serious injury or death.
HOW TO AVOID DANGER
- DO NOT put your hands or feet under the mower or under the mower
housing - while the blades are on.
Refer to maintenance, chapter 5, and perform all the necessary checks and
maintenance steps.
Inspect the tire pressure of the drive wheels. The prescribed pumping pressure
for the tires is 30 psi (210 kpa).

4.2 Starting the engine
Turn the key switch to the "ON" position. The transmission must be in neutral,
the blade drive lever must be off. 1) For trip - with a key, turn the key switch to
the "ON" position, pull the cable - to start the engine. 2) For trip - without the
