5.2 TO STOP THE MOTOR
CAUTION: After the engine is turned off, the blade continues to rotate for several seconds.
1. Release the brake lever to stop the engine and blade. (Fig. 8A)
2. Set the engine switch to the "OFF" position. (Fig.8B)

5.3 GRASS CATCHER BOX

5.3.1 Working without grass catcher box (optional)
With the scarifier, you can work with or without a grass catcher. Whenever you remove the grass catcher, the
protective flap falls. When mowing the lawn without an attached grass catcher, the cut grass is thrown directly
onto the ground. (Abb.9A)
5.3.2 Working with the grass catcher box When working with the grass catcher box, the cuttings are
disposed of via the grass catcher box. When the grass catcher bag is full of clippings, you must empty the
grass catcher bag and clean it.
1. Switch off the engine and wait until it stops.
2. Raise the protective flap and release the grass catcher bag. (Fig.9B)
3. Empty the contents.

5.4 INSTRUCTIONS FOR HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
CAUTION: Never adjust the scarifier at any time without first switching off the engine.
Your scarifier is equipped with a lever for height adjustment, which offers an unlimited number of working
positions. The working positions are dimensioned in -3mm, -6mm, -9mm, -12mm, and -15mm height.
