Dear customer,
you have decided in favour of a sanitary ware item made of high-class glass fibre
reinforced concrete. This product was carefully finished by hand and sealed at the
factory, and is provided with an initial care product.
Concrete is a natural material, which combines a unique design with exclusiveness.
Its characteristic features such as small pores, shrinkage cracks, colour deviations
and streaks are caused during production and it is especially these that make each
product unique.
Concrete is an open-pore and water-absorbing material. In spite of its impregnation
and treatment, this material turns darker when it comes into contact with water.
Depending on the degree of hardness of the water, changes in colour are possible to
a smaller or greater extent (seen as stains and/or streaks). This is a typical and natural
process in this material. The changes in colour disappear when the concrete dries.
Our aim is to advise you on how to care for the products so that you will enjoy it for
years to come. Hence, it is important to observe the following points:
The sealant provided at the factory protects the surface against many products used in
bathrooms such as toothpaste, soap, shaving cream and shampoo. To avoid staining,
all dirt and residues of toiletries should be immediatly rinsed off.
Care
Please note that it is only possible to preserve the characteristic surface qualities
through correct treatment with coordinated care products.
Important: Scouring agents, steel wool or scouring pads may not be used for cleaning!
Also the use of chlorous detergents, detergents for removing scale and acetone (nail
polish remover) can cause stains that can't be removed.
For caretaking of the material we recommend the use of Lithofin MN polish cream.
This should be applied regullarly whenever the water no longer drips off readily. It
should be applied thinly with a cloth in circular movements.
For cleaning basin and taps on a daily basis, we recommend Lithofin KF Bath and
Shower Cleaner. It easilly removes limescale and dirt. The cleansing agent is simply
sprayed on and rinsed off with plenty of clean water.

Warranty
We warrant the product for 2 years from delivery. Please note that warranty claims
lapse if these care instructions are not observed or products are not treated properly.
