6 MODE 1 AND MODE 2 SWITCH
The remote control can be switched from Mode 1 (thrust and rotation on the right
stick, forwards/backwards and banking on the left stick) to Mode 2 (thrust and rotation
on the left stick, forwards/backwards and banking on the right stick).
• Set the ON/OFF switch on the transmitter (2C) to the ‚OFF' position.
• For MODE 2 (6A):
1. Press both controls to the top left corner, hold them there and switch on the
transmitter.
2. Turn both controls all the way around three times, and then press one of the trims
for approx. 2 seconds until the remote control beeps once.
• For MODE 1 (6B):
1. Press the left control to the top left corner and the right control to the top right
corner, hold them there and switch the remote control on.
2. Turn both controls all the way around three times, and then press one of the trims
for approx. 2 seconds until the remote control beeps once.
7 START PREPARATION (MODE 2)
Always observe the sequence when switching on! When switching off, always switch
off the model before the transmitter. Go outside as the GPS of your model requires
satellite reception.
• Set the ON/OFF switch on the remote control (2C) to the „ON" position.
• Push the battery into the battery compartment (1F). Attach the battery cable to the
model's battery cable. The LEDs on the model start to blink.
• After a moment the notification „Set Compass 1" appears on the display - the
gyroscopes of the model have to be calibrated (7A).
• Turn the model clockwise on its vertical axis while keeping it as horizontal as possible
(7B) - ideally place the model on a smooth floor or a table top and turn the model
without picking it up), until the display shows „Set Compass 2" (7C).
• Now hold the model horizontally, with the camera pointing downwards, and turn
it anti-clockwise (7D) until the „Set Compass 2" notification disappears. Then the
calibration is finished.
• Place the model on the ground so that its tail points toward you. Wait until the model
has located six more more satellites, see corresponding display notification (3A). Now
switch the motors on by pressing both controls on the transmitter downwards and
outwards (7E). Let go of the controls as soon as the motors start – your model is now
ready to start.
To stop the motors press the controls outwards and downwards again.
Important! Land first!
Important! Always place your model on a horizontal surface –
the control electronics aligns its neutral position to the subsurface.
SWITCHING OFF:
disconnect the battery cable from the connection socket on the model.
Set the ON/OFF switch on the remote control to the ‚OFF' position.

8 CONNECTING THE MODEL TO THE REMOTE CONTROL
The connection of your model to the remote control is already established at the
factory. Should it become necessary to re-establish connection, proceed as follows:
• Unplug the battery from the model and switch off the transmitter.
• Press and hold the photo/video button and switch the transmitter on.
• Place the transmitter down next to the model.
• Insert the battery cable in the connection socket on the model.
As soon as the model has beeped once the connection is complete.
9 CALIBRATING THE REMOTE CONTROL
If the model drifts or if trimming is difficult while flying, try calibrating the transmitter.
Mode 1: press and hold the left control to the top left and the right control to the top
right and switch on the transmitter. Then move both controls in a circle three times
and then press one of the trim buttons for two seconds. When the transmitter beeps,
the calibration is complete.
Mode 2: Press and hold both controls to the top left and switch on the transmitter.
Then move both controls in a circle three times and then press one of the trim buttons
for two seconds. When the transmitter beeps, the calibration is complete.
10 TRIM ADJUSTMENT OF THE CONTROL
The correct trim is a basic requirement for fault-free flying behaviour of the model. Its
adjustment is simple, but it requires some patience and a feel for it. Please observe
the following instructions precisely: Carefully move the thrust control up and raise the
model approximately 0.5 to 1 metre in altitude.
10A If the model automatically moves slowly or quickly to the left or right ...
gradually press the trim for sideways flight (2E) in the opposite direction.
10B If the model moves by itself slowly or quickly around its own axis ...
gradually press the trim for rotation (2B) in the opposite direction.
10C If the model automatically moves slowly or quickly forwards or backwards ...
gradually press the forwards/backwards trim (2D) in the opposite direction.
10D Control adjustment: by pressing the controls for forwards/backwards and sideways
(2A) the sensitivity of the controls can be set to two levels (Normal and Expert).
Warning! Only switch to a higher level when you have mastered the lower!
