Fault Codes

Fault Code and Status
POWER ON indicator is on solid
red.
POWER ON indicator flashes
red once, is off for 5 (five)
seconds, repeats.
POWER ON indicator flashes
red two (2) times, is off for 5
(five) seconds, repeats.
POWER ON indicator flashes
red three (3) times, is off for 5
(five) seconds, repeats.
POWER ON indicator flashes
red four (4) times, is off for 5
(five) seconds, repeats.
POWER ON indicator flashes
red five (5) times, is off for 5
(five) seconds, repeats.
POWER ON indicator flashes
red eight (8) times, is off for 5
(five) seconds, repeats.
POWER ON indicator flashes
red nine (9) times, is off for 5
(five) seconds, repeats.
The "Cold" temperature indicator
flashes on and off. (NOTE: The
temperature indicator(s) are
only on while the controls are in
the "wake" mode.

Meaning
The refrigerator tried to
operate on the selected energy
source(s) with no success.
This is a fault within the
refrigerator controls.
This is a fault within the
refrigerator controls.
A temperature limit switch is
open.
This is a fault within the
refrigerator controls.
A flame is present at the burner
when there should none.
The refrigerator tried to operate
in GAS mode when the voltage
to the refrigerator was less than
10 VDC.
The input voltage to the
refrigerator is less than 8.5
VDC.
This is a problem related to
the temperature sensor of the
refrigerator.
Corrective Actions
Turn the refrigerator power OFF and then back ON to reset.
If in AUTO mode or Manual AC mode, check:
- That the refrigerator is plugged into a servicable oulet.
- That the AC fuse or circuit breaker of the vehicle is intact.
- That the vehicle generator is operational (if applicable).
If in AUTO mode or GAS mode, check:
- That the valve of the propane gas tank(s) is open.
- That the propane gas is at the correct pressure.
- That the manual shut off valve of the refrigerator is open.
- That there is not air in the propane gas supply line. See
"Removing air from the propane gas supply lines" section
of the Owner's Manual.
This is not owner serviceable. See your dealer or
authorized Norcold Service Center.

If the Fault Code continues, see your dealer or authorized
Norcold Service Center.
