Transport
• Vessel depressurised.
• In the vehicle: Transport the compressor in
an upright position on its feet and wheels,
secure it and protect it.
• With crane: Suitable lifting gear can be at-
tached to the compressor at suitable load-
bearing points on the frame (item 21).
 It is important to take into account the
centre of gravity so that the machine does
not tilt or tip over.
 The guard bar (item 22) is not suitable for
bearing loads.
 Neither the adaptor plate accessory for
attaching Systainers nor any Systainers
attached to it are suitable for bearing
loads.

• Rooms: as dust-free as possible, dry, well
ventilated.
• Outside: Protect the machine from frost,
direct sunlight, dust, rain and splashes of
water.
• Installation surface: flat, horizontal.
• Make sure that the machine is accessible
and adequately lit.
• Keep heat dissipating devices and lines
away from the compressor.
2.4.3

Before first use

1. Carry out a visual inspection.
2. Check the electrical connection.
3. Check the oil level (see Chap. 2.6.6).
 For units with attached oil dipstick, re-
place with sealing plug in unit and fill with
oil.
2.4.4

• The mains voltage must match that speci-
fied on the rating plate.
• Electric protection according to technical
data.
 When using extension cords: cable cross-
section:
min.
length:10 m.
2.4.5
Checking/changing the rotation
direction
