lease coupling; discharge pressure from
the tanks.
2. Open ball valve on the secondary tank.
3. Pull condensate drain hose from the sec-
ondary tank out of the evaporator (Fig-
ure 8c).
4. Close off evaporator opening with the
plug (Figure 8c).
5. Remove compressed air hose from the
quick-release coupling (Figure 8a).
6. Remove screws of the secondary tank on
the frame of the compressor (Figure 5a)
and remove secondary tank.
2.4.10 Connecting the compressed
air cold dryer
1. Depressurise entire compressor: connect
air gun to the safety quick-release cou-
pling; discharge pressure from the
tanks.
2. Mount compressed air cold dryer to the
frame of the compressor and fasten
down (Figure 8b).
3. Remove plug from the evaporator (Fig-
ure 8c).
4. Guide the condensate drain hose from
the compressed air cold dryer through
the partition and insert approx. 3 cm into
the evaporator.
5. Connect the left air hose to the quick-re-
lease coupling on the left and the right
air hose to the quick-release coupling on
the right (Figure 8b).
6. Close the ball valve between the quick-
release couplings.
2.4.11 Removing the compressed
air cold dryer
1. Slowly open the ball valve between the
quick-release couplings.
2. Switch off the compressed air cold dryer
and pull the mains plug.
3. Depressurise entire compressor: connect
air gun to the quick-release coupling;
discharge pressure from the tank.
4. Pull condensate drain hose from the
compressed air cold dryer out of the
evaporator (Figure 8c).
5. Close off opening in the evaporator with
the plug (Figure 8c).
6. Remove air hoses from the quick-release
couplings (Figure 8b).

7. Remove screws from the compressed air
cold dryer on the frame of the compres-
sor (Figure 5a) and demount com-
pressed air cold dryer.
2.5
Operation
Observe the safety instructions!
Do not overload the compressor: do not
exceed the max. number of switching cy-
cles and the ratio of operating time to
standstill!
2.5.1 Insert
1. Plug in the power plug.
2. Connect the compressed air hose to the
quick-action coupling of the compressor.
It is locked automatically.
3. Then, connect the consumer.
4. Switch on the compressor at the ON/OFF
switch (item 10). The compressor starts
up and switches off automatically at
maximum pressure: it is ready to use.
When the switch-on pressure is reached, the
compressor restarts automatically.
During operation with the compressed air
cold dryer, switch it on using the ON/OFF
switch.
2.5.2 Adjusting the working
pressure
1. Pull up the adjustment button on the (fil-
ter) pressure reducer (item 18).
2. Rotate clockwise = pressure is in-
creased. Rotate anticlockwise = pressure
is reduced.
3. Read the set working pressure on the
pressure gauge (item 13).
4. Press the adjustment button down to
lock it in place.
Observe the specifications for compressed
air tools/units.
2.5.3 After use
1. Switch off the compressor.
2. Disconnect the power supply.
3. Push exterior coupling ring back until the
safety plug nipple of the compressed air
hose springs forward.
4. Pull exterior coupling ring forward and
the compressed air hose out of the quick-
release coupling.
