8. SAFETY CAUTIONS

• Do not immerse the base of the appliance into water or any other liquid
• Always disconnect the appliance after use, prior to its assembly or dismantling, to getting the foods and to cleaning it. To disconnect it, pull
the plug and never the flex.
• Do not let the flex hang over the edge of a worktop and avoid any contact with hot surfaces.
• Always empty the reservoir when the appliance is not being utilized.
• Increased surveillance is necessary when this appliance is utilized close to children. Put the appliance away out of reach of children. The
Turbo Steam should not be used by children.
• Never use the appliance if it has fallen or shows traces of damage.
• Stop immediately using the appliance if the flex is damaged. If the supply cable is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer
or its customer service.
• Return the appliance to the nearest-by repair centre for any verification, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment. No repair is allowed
by the user.
• This appliance meets the essential requirements of guidelines 89/336/EEC (electromagnetic compatibility) and 73/23/EEC (safety of
household appliances) as amended by guideline 93/68/EEC (CE marking).
• Use this appliance only to cook while following the instructions of this manual.
• Do not use outside.
• For domestic use only.
