DIR- (17) and DIR+ (18) buttons
These buttons serve to select the folders on the storage medium.
DIR- (17) selects the previous folder.
DIR- (18) selects the next folder.
If no folder structure is present on the storage medium, these buttons have no function.
PAU button (12)
Push this button to interrupt the playback briefly.
When you confirm the button again, replay will begin at the point where it was interrupted.
SCN button (13)
Push this button briefly to play each track approx. for 10 seconds.
Keep this button pushed to play the tracks of the current folder for approx. 10 seconds each.
To de-activate this function again, push the button SCN (13) again.
Playback will be normal from this point onward.
RPT button (14)
Push this button briefly to repeat the currently played track.
Keep this button pushed to repeat all tracks of the current folder.
To de-activate this function, press the button RPT (14) again.
SHF button (16)
Push this button briefly to play all tracks at random order.
Keep this button pressed to play the tracks of the current folder in random order.
To deactivate this function again, push the button SHF (16) again.
Playback continues in normal order from here.

Searching for track numbers
- Push the BND/AMS (11) button once to activate track number search.
- Select the desired track number with the rotary control VOLUME (9).
- Press the SELECT button (9).
- The selected track is played automatically.
