5. Safety precautions during transport
To transport the machine when packed, use a lift truck or a strap-and-rope system.
When unpacked, check the weight of the machine indicated on the type plate. The machine must be handled with the help of a lifting gear. To do so, install
transport lugs (M6) in the appropriate places.
6. Installation
unpack the machine as described in chapter 1 (unpacking and control of deliveries).
cAuTION: Cut the power supply to the cabinet before carrying out any installation work.
Prior to installing the machine, ensure that
•
the enclosure in which the machine shall be installed has protection class IP54 or higher
•
the voltage available corresponds to the voltage required
•
sufficient free space is available inside and outside the enclosure for trouble-free operation
•
the interior of the enclosure is clean
•
the control cabinet is not located in the proximity of heat sources or warm air streams
•
air circulation inside the cabinet is sufficient and that recirculation of the air (air short circuit) is avoided.
The air conditioner must be installed in the highest possible position.
If installed on a door, it must be ensured that the hinges are dimensioned to support the weight.
If the door cannot be opened entirely due to the depth of the air conditioner, a retaining device must be provided for the door.
Ensure that the air intake and discharge openings are unobstructed and located at least 500 mm from the walls or components (see figure).
The operation of the already installed machines must not be impeded by holes, screws, cables etc.
After drilling the holes mount the transport lugs to handle the machine (see chapter 5).
Mount the adhesive seal onto the air intake and discharge openings located on the cabinet.
Fit the air conditioner to the cabinet using the appropriate screws.
Unroll the condensation hose as straight as possible avoiding folds and incline and pass it through the opening to the outside.
cAuTION: The circulation of the air sucked in and / or discharged must not be obstructed.
Nonobservance of the above instructions will not only compromise the proper functioning of the machine but will also impact your
warranty claims.
7. Vibrations and noises
The compressor does not produce any particular vibrations, as the components are mounted on shock absorbers. They therefore comply with the limits
provided under EN2002/44/EG.
The sound pressure level is under 70 dB.
Note: Follow the assembly instructions contained in this manual to ensure compliance with these values.
