3. Intended use
The multi-saw is designed for sawing wood, iron,
non-ferrous metals and plastic. It should only be
used with the appropriate saw blade.
4. Starting up (Fig. 1)
Switching on:
Press the ON/OFF switch (1) toward
the handle.
To lock the switch in place, press the
button catch (3) as well.
Switching off:
Let go of the ON/OFF switch or, if
the switched is locked in place,
press the ON/OFF switch again
briefly and let go.
5. Electronic stroke rate control
The blade speed can be set with the wheel selector
(3).
The general rules for cutting speeds for cutting work
apply.
6. Changing the saw blade (Fig. 2)
Always switch off and unplug the multi-saw before
working on the machine or changing the saw blade.
Unscrew the screw on the ram (4) using the Allen
key (8) included in delivery. Slide the blade between
the piston rod and the retention clip (9) in the ram
and make sure that the pin on the ram latches into
the hole in the blade. Re-tighten the screw using the
Allen key (8). The teeth of the blade must face the
direction of cutting.
7. Use as a jigsaw (Fig. 4)
Place the multi-saw on the material to be cut as
shown in Fig. 4. Switch on the multi-saw and push it
along against the material to be cut. Adapt your cut-
ting speed to the material.
