The Petromax Electro Lamp is designed for in-
door use only. Do not use outdoors. The lamp
can be used as night and reading lamp. It can
also be used for decoration purposes. Positi-

Light BuLB
• B efore installing/replacing the bulb, switch
off the appliance and pull the plug. Allow the
light bulb and the appliance to cool down.
• R emove the two knurled screws. Remove the
hood.
• I f necessary, remove the old light bulb by
turning it counterclockwise. Install the new
light bulb by turning it clockwise with a cle-
an, dry cloth. Make sure that there are no
foreign objects (e.g. dirt, dust, fingerprints)
and/or liquids on the surface of the light
bulb.

Plug the lamp into a wall socket (230V ~
50Hz-60Hz). Use the cord switch to turn the
lamp on or off. Do not permit children to play
with the appliance.

• B efore cleaning the appliance, always switch
off the appliance and unplug it.
• C lean with a clean, dry cloth. Never immerse
the appliance in water. Make sure that no wa-
ter enters the lamp housing, wiring space, or
