The drum shell is turned to the drum.

1. Lift the drum shell to mid-way up the drum
2. Position the drum lifter centrally in front of the drum
w The drum shell is against the drum.
3. Apply both brakes [} 5 7]
4. Pull the ratchet safety lock and fully release the ratchet
5. Place the strap around the drum and thread the end of the
strap through the slotted shaft of the ratchet
Pull the belt through the slotted shaft until it is tight
against the drum
6. Tighten until the strap is wrapped around the slotted shaft
2 or 3 times
7. Pull the ratchet safety lock and position the ratchet in the
LOCK position
CAUTION! Loose tension belt! A falling drum
can cause damage and injuries. Only loosen
the ratchet when the drum is standing fully
flat on a firm surface.
8. Lift the attachment, until the drum lifts
The drum is lifted (max. 30 cm above the floor). The brakes

may be released and the drum moved to its destination.
