Chassis Model W fork adjustment
Chassis Model W has two fork positions, narrow and wide. Depending on your requirement, the fork position can be
changed with just a few actions.
CAUTION! If the forks are not both set the same there is an increased danger of tipping. Set
both forks either to the wide or the narrow position.
WARNING
Possible ignition of an explosive atmosphere.
Ensure that you are outside any Ex zone.

How to adjust the chassis forks

1 Lock bolts

The brakes are released.
ü
The drum lifter is not loaded.

1. Pull the lock bolts (1) upwards and hold them
2. Depending on the current setting:
Move the forks by hand to pull them open or push them in
and release the lock bolts
w The lock bolts fall back down automatically as soon as
the holes are aligned.
3. Repeat this step on the other side
When both forks are set the same the drum lifter may be
