Turning the DC output on and off

The DC output may only be switched on and off in unloaded condition. Switching
under load results in damage to the power supply.
The DC output is turned on and off via the „OUTPUT" (7) key. This allows working on the DC output with-
out having to switch off the power supply itself. The switch remains in the respective position.
ON The DC output is active
OFF The DC output is not active. The inactive output is signalled by the red LED „OFF" (8).
Switch off the DC output before every voltage settings.

Connecting a device

When connecting a consumer, make sure that it is connected to the power sup-
ply when switched off. The maximum current consumption of the consumer load
must not exceed 40 A.
For series connection of several power supplies, contact dangerous voltages (> 70
VDC) are created where contact can be fatal.
From this voltage only insulated accessories may be used.
Avoid the use of uninsulated metallic cables and contacts. Alle diese Stellen

From a current of 20 A the contact must be established via the screw terminal
function. The 4mm socket must no longer be used here. Ensure a sufficient cable
diameter for the intended current.
• Switch on the mains power supply at the power switch (1). The operating display (2) lights up and the
current and voltage display appears on the display.
• Ensure that the consumer and the DC output are switched off („OFF" (8) display light).
• Set the parameters according to your specifications.
• Verify again that the output voltage has been set correctly.
• Connect the positive pole (+) of the consumer to the red connection terminal „+" (12) and
• the negative pole (-) of the consumer to the black connection terminal „-" (13).
• Activate the voltage output on the „OUTPUT" (7) switch. The display (8) for the active output goes off.
• Now you can switch on the connected consumer.
• The current consumption of the connected consumer is displayed in the power display „A".
