1. Use the tool supplied to unscrew the hose connections
( Fig. 11/10) and the gas ballast valve ( Fig. 11/8) from the
head plate (3).
2. Pull the connection tube ( Fig. 11/9) out of the head plate
(3).
3. Replace the O-rings.
Replacing valve plates/seals
With the pump, the valve plates/seals (4) are replaced
successively.
1. Only slacken the screw (1) of one pump head.
2. Remove the pressure plate (2) and head plate (3) from the
intermediate plate (5).
3. Remove the old valve plates/seals (4).
4. Carefully clean the intermediate plate (5) (if there are de-
posits on it).
5. Insert the new valve plates/seals (4) into the correspond-
ing seats on the intermediate plate (5).
6. Perform steps 1 to 5 for the second pump head.
7. Dispose of the old diaphragm (6) and valve plates/seals
(4) properly.
