NOTICE
Vacuum operation without silencer
1. Connect the suction line and the pressure line.

Only connect components to the pump that are designed
for the pneumatic data of the pump (see Chapter 6 Tech-
nical data).
à
When using as a vacuum pump: Safely drain the pump
discharge at the pneumatic outlet of the pump.
2. Lay the suction line and the pressure line at a downward
angle to prevent condensate from running into the pump.
3. Plug the plug of the power cable into a properly installed,
grounded socket.
When using a silencer, KNF recom-
mends operating the pump in a safe
environment, e.g., fume cupboard, to
avoid dangers posed by harmful
gases.
