Connectivity functions
In conjunction with the Bluetooth® Low Energy
module GCY 42, the following connectivity functions are
available for the power tool:
– Registration and personalisation
– Status check, output of warning messages
– General information and settings
– Management
– Setting the speed levels
Read the corresponding operating instructions for informa-
tion about the Bluetooth® Low Energy Module GCY 42.
The smartphone indicator lights up when the power tool
sends information (e. g. temperature warning) to a mobile
device via Bluetooth® wireless technology.

Start-up
Switching on (see figure N)
– To switch on the power tool, first slide the lock-off
button (7) to the middle and then press and hold the on/
off switch (8).
Note: For safety reasons, the on/off switch (8) cannot be
locked; it must remain pressed during the entire operation.

– To switch off, release the on/off switch (8).
Sawing

Always tighten the locking knob (22) and the clamp-

ing handle (34) firmly before sawing. Otherwise the
saw blade can become wedged in the workpiece.
