General information
The cooling unit is equipped with electronic regulation. After connection
of the supply voltage, the internal fan runs continuously when door
contact is closed, except for when in energy saving mode or with units
with the antifreeze option. The temperature of the air sucked in from
the interior of the switch cabinet is measured by a temperature sensor.
The compressor and the external fan are regulated according to the
temperature inside the switch cabinet.

1. 'POWER' LED:
Operation indicator
10
The cooling unit with standard controller has an operation in- dicator
10
with an LED in the outside hood of the unit. When this indicator glows
without interruption with the unit connected to the power supply, this
10
indicates that the unit is in normal op- erating mode. If an error occurs,
the LED blinks - refer also to chapter 2.5 'Behaviour of the cooling
10
unit in the event of an error'.
2.1 Settings
11
ÜThere is a selector switch on the circuit board that allows a variety of
11
target temperatures as well as maximum temperatures for the switch
cabinet to be set - refer to the table below.
12
After changing a setting with the selector switch, switch cooling unit
off and on again. Otherwise the changed values are not adopted.

2.2 Door contact
In order to prevent excessive accumulation of condensate and for
safety reasons, a door contact switch should be connected to the
terminals provided for this purpose (refer to the circuit diagram on
the enclosure lid or in the separate technical data sheet).
Opening the door of the switch cabinet, and thus opening the
switch, then results in all of the motors of the cooling unit being shut
down immediately. The door contact is supplied with low voltage
(<20V, 20 mA) from the cooling unit.
•
In order to avoid interference, it is recommended to use a shielded
cable with pairs of twisted leads. The shielding can be attached to
one end, on the functional earth
for this purpose.
•
If it is not possible to use shielded cable, care should be taken
when installing the cable so that it is not laid in the immediate
vicinity of potential sources of interference (e.g. power supply
lines, components with electromagnetic emissions).
Caution! No other source of current may be connected.
If no door contact switch is used, the connecting contacts
ust be bridged.
