11. Pairing

In this chapter you will pair each sensor with the gateway, which
establishes a unique communication channel for the sensor.
a) Before you start
• Connect the gateway to the power supply.
• Ensure all sensors are equipped with batteries.
b) Pair sensor
It is possible to add a sensor via the app interface
instead of the touch button on the gateway. Refer to the
app instruction manual for details.
Repeat the following steps for each sensor:
1. Put your finger on the touch button on the gateway for 5
seconds. The gateway plays the pairing tune and the indicator
light flashes green and fast.
- If you do not pair the sensor within 60s, the gateway exits
pairing mode. Restart the procedure if needed.
2. Press the pairing button on the sensor. Use the supplied pin
if necessary.
3. Upon successful pairing:
- Gateway plays confirmation tune.
- The indicator light on the gateway goes off.
