3.4.1 General hazard warnings

Work area
Caution: Risk of falling and slipping due to connection cables, material
hoses and liquid media
• Do not route cables and hoses within the traffic area of the work area.
• Immediately absorb any spilled liquids and, if necessary, sprinkle the
area.

• The spray jet must never be pointed at persons or animals.
• Never look or reach into the spray jet.
Danger: Risk of electric shock
• Only connect the device to a socket outlet (230 V) with a PE contact
that has been correctly installed by a qualified electrician. Couplings and
connecting lines must be splash-proof. Use only if the power cables are
in perfect condition.
• The spray jet must not be directed at electrical or live components, the
device itself or lines.
• Sufficient distance and other safety instructions must be observed when
working near live overhead lines.
• When working outdoors or in a damp environment, be sure to use an
extension cable approved for outdoor use and to use a residual current
device.
• Protect the device's electric motor against direct moisture.
• Store the spraying device in a frost-free area.
