Enabling/disabling automatic advance
This function (only active in heating mode) enables the device to automatically adapt the
exact moment when the system comes on in order to ensure the desired temperature at
the set time. The advance is calculated according to the difference between the measured
temperature and the set temperature, and can reach up to a maximum of three hours
prior to the time at which the temperature to be reached is set.
Example of operation
If the device is programmed to be at a temperature of 20 °C at 7 am and the automatic
advance feature has not been activated, the system will come on at 7 am but will not
guarantee a temperature of 20 °C at 7 am.
If the automatic advance feature has been activated the programmable thermostat will turn
the system on in advance in an attempt to reach 20 °C at 7 am. Thanks to a self-learning
mechanism, the programmable thermostat stores the room's temperature parameters in
order to be more precise, in subsequent days, in achieving the set temperature objective.
