Accessing the Wiring compartment on UltraTemp
E20 and E25 (3 phase models)
Electrical wiring to the heat pump must be in accordance with
local codes and regulations.
Be sure the power to the circuit for the heat pump
is turned off.
1. Remove the front panel (A) of the heat pump cabinet.
2. Remove the front panel(B) of the wiring compartment.
3. Run the wires from the power source /remote and
connect through the cable glands on the right hand side of
the heat pump and lead them to the electrical
compartment on top of the unit. Attach the cable to the
guide wire and gently pull the guide wire from inside the
wiring compartment . Dispose of the guide wire
afterwards.
4. Make the required connections as explained further is this
manual.
5. Replace the wiring compartment and heat pump front
panel before powering up.
Main Power on UltraTemp E08 , E10, E12 and E15 (single phase models)
Electrical wiring to the heat pump must be in accordance with local codes and regulations.
1. For cable and circuit breaker selection consult Technical data in the back of this manual.
2. Access the wiring compartment
3. Connect 3x380V power supply on the terminal block (see picture below) in the wiring compartment.
4. On first installation check all terminals on relays and connectors as they may have loosened in transport
5. UltraTemp E20 and E25 are equipped with a phase detection module inside the wiring compartment. ('C' in
picture ). This will disconnect power inside the heatpump when phases are connected in the wrong order.
Neither will the Ultratemp display be active.
6. If this is the case, switch the L1 and L2 terminals. Make sure to disconnect power before accessing the terminals !
