Horizontal levelling
Release the transport restraint, push the slide switch (2) to
the left. The laser line appears.
The transport restraint must be released for horizontal levelling. The

laser lines flash when the device is outside the automatic levelling range
of 3.5°. Position the device such that it is within the levelling range.

Slope mode
Do not release the transport restraint, push the slide switch
(2) to the right and switch on the laser using button 7. Sloping
planes and tilts can now be measured. In this mode, the laser
line no longer aligns automatically. This is indicated by the laser
line flashing.

Hand receiver mode
Optional: Working with the laser
receiver RX
Use a RX laser receiver (optional) to carry
out levelling at significant distances or when
the laser line is no longer visible.
Manual receiver mode is switched
on automatically.

Observe the laser receiver's operating
instructions for line lasers.
Working without laser receivers
To work without laser receivers, switch off the manual receiver mode by pressing
button 7 (hand receiver mode on/off). The laser line will now no longer pulse at
a high frequency and the laser line becomes brighter.
