2. Safety regulations
2.1 General safety regulations
Machinery / tools with moving parts always bear the risk of bodily injury and require specific caution and carefulness.
Please read this manual carefully before operating this equipment to minimize risks.
•
This device may only be operated in faultless condition.
•
Modifications must be reported immediately to the supervisor.
•
Keep the work environment tidy.
•
Make sure that the working area is well-lit.
•
Secure long work pieces against falling during operation.
•
Clean up possible oil leakages immediately.
•
Operating personnel is obliged to wear suitable protective clothing
(e.g.: gloves, anti-slip work shoes, close-fitting clothes, ear protectors, safety glasses).
•
Work at the machine is prohibited if concentration could be affected
(e.g.: through the consumption of drugs or alcohol).
•
No other persons apart from the operator may stay in the direct working area during operation.
