9. ACTIVATED CARBON FILTER (C VERSION ONLY)
Fine dust / odour filter
No cleaning possible as these are disposable filters. However, the filters should be re-
placed every 4 months at the latest. Or if necessary when the cleaning performance of
the filter decreases (noticeable by the fact that the hood no longer has the full perfor-
mance, or the indoor air quality decreases). The replacement interval depends on the
use of the extraction system; in the case of more intensive use, the filter must be re-
placed more frequently.
Function:
The fine dust / odour filter combines the fine dust filter technology with the activated
carbon / odour filter. This filters fine dust particles, house dust, animal hair but also
plant pollen or spores from the cooking fumes and the room air. In combination with the
activated carbon filter, the cooking odours are also largely neutralised.
Remove the filter:
For this with a screwdriver or a coin the black plastic screw unscrew, now the activated
charcoal filter at the frame grasp and after upper take out. Hold the frame of the acti-
vated charcoal filter with one hand and pull out the activated charcoal filter mat laterally
with the other hand. Dispose of the old activated carbon filter mat in household waste.
Insert the new activated carbon filter mat into the frame and insert the activated carbon
filter back into the hood.
