2. GENERAL FUNCTION
The Carta represents another innovation in the long series of design and
technology ideas from GUTMANN. The front of the cooker hood is comple-
tely made of elegant glass, which can be either black glass / white glass /
grey glass / mirror glass or stainless steel. The extractor hood has been spe-
cially developed as a wall hood for extracting cooking fumes in private
households. The rising cooking fumes are captured by the hood both at the
front and at the bottom and extracted via the metal filters. To reduce the for-
mation of condensate on the glass, the lower part of the hood is equipped
with a speed extraction system which captures a large proportion of the ri-
sing cooking vapours.
In the hood there are two condensation filters which are arranged in flaps.
These condensation filters are located at the bottom behind the flap ( for
speed suction ) and at the front in the glass drawer. These filters are held in
the filter holder by magnetic tape and can be easily removed for cleaning
purposes without tools.
In the hood body itself, a powerful motor ensures sufficient fan performance
in all fan stages. In the C version, an activated carbon fine dust filter is
connected downstream of the motor, which filters odour- and fine dust partic-
les from the air before it is blown back into the room via an air outlet grille.
The extraction performance as well as other additional functions are control-
led via a touch panel located centrally on the glass front. The lighting is also
controlled via the control panel.
The dimmable LED lighting is equipped with a colour change ( 2700 to 6500 K ).
The glass pull-out also has integrated lighting.
For hygienic reasons, the extractor hood is made of stainless steel in combi-
nation with glass elements.
