Powerbank with jump-start function VC300 A 2-in-1
Item no. 1496542

Intended Use

The power bank is used to support the starter battery of 12 V vehicle on-board networks in the
case of starting problems. However, it cannot replace the existing starter battery and, thus, may
be used only in addition to it. Use the system exclusively on 12 V on-board voltage systems
with the negative pole of the vehicle battery connected to the ground.
In addition, the power bank has two USB outputs, which can be used for navigation devices,
smartphones or similar devices with a USB or a USB-C™ connection for power supply or for
charging the internal rechargeable battery.
The built-in LED light can be used for illumination in the dark.
The integrated ionising air cleaner helps to eliminate unpleasant odours.
The built-in rechargeable battery of the power bank can be charged via the enclosed power
adapter or cigarette lighter charging cable.
The product may only be used in dry places or under dry ambient conditions outdoors.
For safety and approval reasons, you may not convert and/or alter the product. If you use the
product for purposes other than those described above, you may inflict damage on the product.
Moreover, the improper use involves risks such as short-circuits, fire, electric shocks, etc. Ple-
ase read the operating instructions carefully and do not discard them. If you pass the product
on to a third party, please hand over these operating instructions as well.

Explanation of Symbols

The lightning symbol inside of a triangle is used when there is a potential risk of
personal injury, such as electric shock.
An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates important instructions in this operating
manual which absolutely have to be observed.
This symbol on the device indicates that the user should read these operating ins-
tructions prior to putting the device into operation and follow the instructions when
using the product.
The arrow symbol is used when specific tips and information on the operation are
provided.

Safety Instructions

Please read the operating instructions carefully and pay particular attention
to the safety instructions. We do not assume liability for any injuries/materi-
al damages resulting from failure to observe the safety instructions and the
information in these operating instructions regarding the proper handling of
the product. Furthermore, in such cases, the warranty/guarantee will be null
and void.
a) General
• The product is not a toy. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a dange-
rous plaything for children.
• Observe the operating and storage conditions in the chapter "Technical Data".
• Never expose the product to mechanical stress.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures (accumulated heat in the vehicle
or negative temperatures in the winter), direct sunlight, strong vibrations, high hu-
midity, moisture, combustible gases, vapours and solvents.
• Handle the product with care. It can be damaged by impact, blows, or by being
dropped, even from a low height.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices that are
connected to this product.
• Never pour any liquids above or next to the product. Do not place any containers
with liquids, e.g., vases or plants, on or next to the product. Liquids may seep into
the casing and thus impair the electrical safety of the device. Furthermore, there
is a significant risk of fire or of a lethal electric shock! Should liquid, nevertheless,
get into the interior of the device, immediately switch off the mains voltage to the
socket to which the plug-in power adapter is connected from all poles (switch
off at the corresponding circuit breaker or, for example, remove the safety fuse
or switch off at the corresponding RCD protective switch, so that the socket is
fully disconnected). Only then can you unplug the plug-in power adapter from the
mains socket and contact a specialist. Do not use the product any longer.
• If safe operation is no longer possible, take the device out of service and secure
it against unintended use. Safe operation is no longer possible, if the product:
- shows visible signs of damage,
- no longer functions properly,
- has been stored under adverse ambient conditions for an extended period of
time or
- has been exposed to considerable strain during transport.
• If you have doubts about how the product should be operated or how to safely
connect it, consult a qualified technician.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the respective
responsible employer's liability insurance association are to be observed.
• In schools, educational centres, hobby and self-help workshops, the operation of
this power bank must be supervised by trained employees.
• Maintenance, adjustment and repair work may be carried out only by an expert or
a specialist workshop.
• If you have any questions that are not answered in these operating instructions,
please contact our technical customer service or other professionals.
b) Plug-in Power Adapter
• The design of the plug-in power adapter complies with IEC Protection Class II
(double insulated electrical appliances). Use only a standard mains socket as the
power source for the power adapter.
• Before plugging in the plug-in power adapter, make sure the voltage indicated on
the plug-in power adapter is compatible with the available mains voltage. Do not
connect the plug-in power adapter if the data does not match the available mains
voltage. Incorrect supply voltage can cause serious damage.
• The power socket into which the power adapter is inserted must be easily ac-
cessible.
• To charge the power bank, use only the provided plug-in power adapter or ciga-
rette lighter charging cable.
• Do not pull the power adapter from the mains socket by pulling on the cable. Hold
it on the sides of the casing and pull it out of the mains socket.
• Never touch a power adapter that shows signs of damage, as this could cause a
fatal electric shock!
First, switch off the mains voltage to the socket, to which the power adapter is
connected (switch off at the corresponding circuit breaker or remove the safety
fuse or switch off at the corresponding RCD protective switch, so that all poles of
the mains socket are disconnected).
You can then unplug the power adapter from the mains socket. Dispose of the
faulty power adapter in an environmentally friendly way, do not use it any more.
Replace it with a power adapter of the same design.
c) Operation
• The plug-in power adapter is only intended for use in dry indoor locations. The
power bank can also be used outdoors under dry ambient conditions. No part of
the product should become damp or wet; never handle it if your hands are wet!
Power adapters pose the potential risk of a fatal electric shock!
• Do not use the device in an explosive environment, e.g. near flammable fluids,
gases or dust.
• The power bank may be used only by trained persons who observe these opera-
ting instructions.
• Do not operate the product when it is unattended.
• Put the product on a heat-resistant surface when charging. A slight warming du-
ring the charging process is normal.
