5. WaRNINGS IN USE

connection to power supply 230v~50hz on the terminals B1, B2 is strictly forbidden. if
the a44 or a88 is connected to the audio-link, damage could occur.
The polarity between the different nikobus modules such as the switching unit, the
shutter unit, the dimmer controller and the audio-link has to be observed. B1 always
has to be connected to B1 and B2 to B2. if this is not the case, the unit will not work
or errors can occur.
The device can only be used with din rail mountings, and must be installed in a switch
box designed for this purpose.

6. TROUBLESHOOTING

• No text on the display:—> Check the 230V connection
• The unit cannot be operated:
—> B1 and B2 are transposed
—> RUN mode of the Audio-Link is activated
—> The programming was not carried out correctly
—> The serial cable between the Audio-Link and COM 1 of A44/A88 is not the
right one
