5.5.3 Temperature sensor / Outputs
The controller manual must be observed for the
connection of further temperature sensors and out -
puts.

6 Initial operation

ATTENTION
Damage to property through operating error
Operating errors and an incomplete installation
may cause malfunction and damage to prop-
erty.
For this reason:
Before initial operation, the following condi-
tions are to be checked:
– All ball valves must be opened
– All check valves must be closed (operating
position)
The "Regumaq X/XZ-30-B" are pressure tested
when leaving the factory.
• Check all couplings before initial operation and
re-tighten if necessary
• Before initial operation, the complete installation
must be leak tested by carrying out a pressure
test.
WARNING
The pipework has to be bled and flushed thor-
oughly in order to guarantee a perfect opera-
tion of the system.
Corresponding components (deaerator...) are
to be installed.
DANGER
Risk of scalding
Water pipes and the water drawn from the
tap can become very hot (>60°C).
For this reason:
– Disinfection should be carried overnight when-
ever possible (see also controller manual).
– If necessary preventive measures against
scalding are to be taken on site.

6.1 Flushing, filling
The "Regumaq X/XZ-30-B" stations are pressure
tested when leaving the factory. Before filling, the
complete system, however, has to be subjected
to a leakage test by a specialist tradesman.
WARNING
Risk of injury
Improper use may lead to extensive injuries
and damage to property.
For this reason:
– Carry out leakage test before filling/flush-
ing
– Have any work at the installation only
carried out by a qualified tradesman.
– Wear safety goggles.
ATTENTION
Damage to property caused by pressure
impacts
Sudden pressure impacts when opening the
ball valves may lead to damage to property
For this reason:
– Always open ball valves slowly
