5 Installation

5.1 Important notes
NOTICE
National standards as well as the approved
rules of technology must be observed during
construction of a hot water installation
The Oventrop fresh water station "Regumaq
X/XZ" features a 10 bar safety valve preventing
an excess of the permissible operating pres-
sure in the potable water circuit.
– Depending on the conditions in the installa-
tion, a further safety valve with a lower
opening pressure must be installed outside
the station in the potable water pipe.
– A water filter must be installed in the potable
water pipe in accordance with the latest
technical development.
ATTENTION
The hydronic decoupling of the station must
be guaranteed
For this reason:
– Always use separate connections for the
connection to the buffer storage cylinder.
– The connecting pipes between the "Regu-
maq X/XZ-30-B" station and the storage
cylinder should be as short as possible.
5.2 Preparations

Risk of injury
Improper installation may lead to extensive in-
juries to persons and damage to property.
For this reason:
– Installation should only be carried out by a
qualified gas and water specialist.
– Have any work at the electrical installation
only carried out by a qualified electrician.

Before installation of the fresh water station:
1. Determine positioning and route of all supply
and return pipes to the fresh water station. The
connecting pipes to the storage cylinder should
be as short as possible
2. Determine the positioning of the fresh water
station.
3. Ensure that a suitable sized fused power supply
is available. Have the installation carried out by
a qualified electrician according to the relevant
current standards.
4. Place required tools ready
• Tape measure
• Spirit level
• Pipe wrench
• Drill (with 10 mm masonry drill bit)
• Spanner 13 mm / reversible ratchet handle
with 13 mm socket
