Please read through these operating instructions carefully before putting the crane into oper-
ation.
Before operating the crane for the first time, please familiarise yourself with the comprehen-
sive range of functions and observe the safety instructions.

▪ Safty instructions

Important information!
When the crane boom is extended, noise may be generated due to the drive shaft.
However, this has no effect on operation and does not represent damage.
Important information!
The motor of this model is tightly installed due to the construction.
The motor changing requires knowledge of precision mechanics and electrical en-
gineering!
Please contact your ROCO stockist or a specialised workshop in this regard in order
to avoid damage being caused by incorrect handling!
Warning!
If handled incorrectly and when turning the crane with counterweight without the supports
being unfolded, the crane may tip and be damaged!
For this purpose, please observe the load diagram on page 36.
▪ Operating instructions
The smallest radius this model should run is R2 (358 mm) of the ROCO track system (mo-
del without tubes protecting pistons).
Due to the high dead weight and the single-axle drive, gradients are only conditionally
passable.
Your locomotive will run smoothly on clean tracks only. For this purpose we recommend
using item no. 46400, Roco track cleaning van, or item no. 10002, Roco track clea-
ning rubber, for removing heavy dirt.
