Troubleshooting
If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps that are listed, contact the cus-
tomer service department.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!
Problem
The device cannot
be switched on.
The fuse in the fuse
box is triggered.
The programme is
aborted. / The two
control lamps are
fl ashing.
Milk runs out of the
milk container.
During use, an
unpleasant smell is
detected.

Possible cause
The mains plug is not inserted
correctly in the plug socket.
The plug socket is defective.
No mains voltage is present.
The On / Off button (5) has not
been pressed.
No error can be identifi ed.
The milk container (6) has
been removed from the base
station (3) during operation.
There is too much milk in the
milk container.
Is the device being used for
the fi rst time?
Fix
Insert the mains plug.
Try another plug socket.
Check the fuse of the mains
connection.
Press the On / Off button. The
control lamp lights up red.
Contact our customer service
department.
Place the milk container
back in the base station. The
control lamp goes out and
the control lamp lights up
blue. Start the programme you
want again.
Do not overfi ll the milk
container!
A smell often develops when
new devices are fi rst used.
The smell should disappear
once the device has been
used several times.
