Important warnings:
- Do not use a SIM from the "3" operator or a SIM with a data-only contract.
- You can see the GSM signal strength even in the absence of the SIM card (see "SIM
presence and GSM signal strength" chapter).
- Before inserting the SIM card into the programmable thermostat, it is advisable to
check it works correctly, by trying to send and receive a text message with the aid
of a mobile phone.
- In order to reduce battery consumption, when the programmable thermostat is de-
tached from the base, the display backlight is disabled and it is not possible to send
or receive text messages or change the date and time.

NANO SIM
In order to control the program-
mable thermostat remotely using
OK!
a mobile phone, it is necessary to
insert a SIM CARD (not included)
NO!
in the designated slot D.
The SIM card must have the fol-
lowing characteristics:
- it must have a PAYG contract or
subscription,
- it must be enabled for telephone
traffic and receiving text mes-
sages,
- the PIN code request must be
disabled.
In order to guarantee device op-
eration in the event of a temporary
interruption to the mains power
supply, insert 3 x RECHARGEABLE
NiCd/NiMH AAA 1.2 V batteries
(not supplied) in the designated
slot, respecting the polarities
indicated on the bottom E.
Incorrect positioning of the
batteries may damage the unit.
