7) The fridge can only operate using a single phase
alternating current power supply of 115V/60Hz. If
fluctuation in voltage in the user's area is so great that
the voltage exceeds the above range, for safety's sake
be sure to install an AC automatic voltage regulator
of greater than 350W for the fridge. The appliance
should be plugged into a dedicated circuit and a non-
GFCI or non-arc-fault protected power outlet. Its plug
must match the outlet, which must be equipped with
a ground wire.

1.6 Daily use

> Do not store flammable gas or liquids in the
appliance, as this would create an explosion hazard.
> Do not operate any electrical appliances inside the
appliance (electric ice cream makers, mixers, etc.).
> When unplugging, always pull the plug directly from
the power outlet;do not pull on the cable.
> Do not place hot items near the appliance's plastic
components.
> Do not place food products directly against the air
vent on the rear wall.
> Store pre-packaged frozen food according to the
frozen food manufacturer's instructions.
> Storage recommendations should be strictly
followed. See the relevant storage instructions.
> Do not place carbonated or fizzy drinks in the
freezer compartment, as this creates pressure in the
container which may cause it to explode, resulting in
damage to the appliance.
> Frozen foods can cause frost burns if consumed
straight from the freezer compartment.
> Do not situate the appliance in direct sunlight.
> Keep candles, lamps and other objects with open
flames away from the appliance, as they may cause
it to ignite.
> The appliance is intended for storing food and/or
drinks in normal domestic settings. Be careful when
moving the appliance, as it is heavy.

> Do not remove or touch items from the freezer
compartment if your hands are damp/wet, as this
could cause skin abrasions or frost burns.
> Never use the base, drawers, doors, etc. to stand on
or as supports.
> Frozen food must not be refrozen once it has been
thawed.
> Do not consume ice lollies or ice cubes straight
from the freezer, as this can cause frost burns on the
mouth and lips.
> To avoid items falling and causing bodily injury or
appliance damage, do not overload the door racks or
overfill the crisper drawers.
> This refrigerating appliance is not intended to be
used as a built-in appliance.
> Keep medications away from the freezer
compartment and away from the air vents, so as to
avoid the formation of ice crystals that could damage
the medications. Do not store medications on the
refrigerator door, as they will be exposed to uneven
temperatures every time the refrigerator door is
opened.

1.7 Precautions for cleaning and care

> Before performing maintenance, switch off the
appliance and disconnect the power plug from the
power outlet.
> Do not use metal objects, steam cleaners, essential
oils, organic solvents or abrasive cleansers to clean
the appliance.
> Do not use sharp objects to remove frost from the
appliance; always use a plastic scraper instead.
