Insert the cable through the opening provided at the bottom of the frame (fig. 2).
Connect an RJ45 connector to the far end of the cable, so you can connect the doorbell with addressing 16-602 later
on. Mount the frame in the hole in the exterior or interior wall. Make sure the cable insert is located at the bottom of
the frame. The front of the frame has to be levelled with the finished wall, if not, it can become difficult if not impossible
to mount the front plate. Anchor the frame using mortar, plaster or screw-fix it. To this purpose, you can drill holes in
the frame yourself. Make sure this does not obstruct mounting the modules. Always seal the openings with silicone to
prevent water from seeping in.
Install the modules as in fig. 3 (see also user manuals and installation instructions of the corresponding modules). Always
begin with the lighting module that is supplied together with the external unit. Then mount the modules in the desired
order. Start at the top. Always end with the bolt module. Before screw-fixing any module, always plug in the flat cable in
the connector at the back of the module. In the figure below, the upper and lower part of the flush mounting frame were
left out for reasons of clarity. You do not have to remove those parts to mount the modules.
Mount the front plate to the frame (fig. 4a). If this does not work im-
mediately, slightly unscrew the bolt module. Screw down the front plate
tightly by means of the Allen wrench (fig. 4b). The bolt module pulls up
the front plate with a bar, locking it into place.
