There are 2 methods of attaching the
receiver.
– with a magnet on the metallic surfaces
– with a retaining clamp on the telescopic
or levelling rod, etc.
n Attach the receiver to the retaining
clamp with the knurled screw.
n Attach the retaining clamp to the
telescopic or levelling rod with the
clamping screw.
n Align the levelling rod with the aid of the
spirit level (30) installed in the receiver.

Working with the receiver:
n Switch on the receiver with the On/Off
button (31).
n Set the required sensitivity.
The selected setting is indicated on the
display.
n Switch on/off the acoustic signal and/or
background light.
n Hold the receiver in the rotating laser
beam.
One of the following displays is indicated
depending on the position of the laser
beam:
a) Receiver too high
b) Receiver at laser beam level
c) Receiver too low
Note
To prevent interference by a third party, switch
the ALR to "Scan" operating mode and align
the beam with the receiver.
n Set the receiver exactly at the level of
the laser beam and mark.
n On completion of the work switch off the
receiver.
