ADJUSTMENT

reduction in product ow. Loosen anti-clockwise to increase ow.
Never exceed the pre-set point during the adjustment phase: this constitutes a risk of sudden ejection of the
adjustment handwheel under the effect of air pressure.
3 Adjustment of the total air fl ow on input, only if a fl ow control valve is fi tted (optional)
This is performed by means of a ow control valve (point 4). Loosen anti-clockwise to increase air ow (more
supply), and vice versa anticlockwise to reduce the air ow through to total closure..
4 Combined adjustment
Combined adjustment of the handwheels (9 and 10) enables the user to obtain varying degrees of smoothness
in the nish, or varying widths of beads with different characteristics as required, with the possibility of restoring
the surface to its original appearance. The distance from which the material is sprayed determines the variation in
characteristics of the spray itself. To obtain a bead the material should be sprayed 2-5 cm from the object, and for
spraying on larger surface areas the distance can vary from 10-15 cm. These characteristics are obviously to be
considered guideline only, and can change according to the material used.
N.B. In the case of beads, both the combined adjustments described above and the spray distance are essential
factors to obtain the required nal results (see residual risks)
FITTING THE EXTRUSION CAP
1. Loosen the spray cap by turning it anti-clockwise and replace with the extrusion cap with external thread,
tightening it clockwise fully down to the end.
2. Select an extrusion nozzle suited to the work to be performed and tighten the nozzle clockwise onto the threaded
cap. The gun is tted with two nozzles (pos. 12-13) in plastic, and one nozzle (pos. 14), featuring a semi-round
design with the possibility of being cut to size as needed, together with special guide ns that enable extrusion
along a set pro le, thus guaranteeing perfectly uniform results. These nozzles are washable and re-usable. These
can be purchased from your local retailer.
During the extrusion phase, the material nebulisation control valve must remain closed and the threaded cap
(pos. 7) must be well tightened against the nozzle.
CARTRIDGE SPRAY GUN (POLYMER MS)
1 Adjustment of product nebulisation
Tighten the handwheel no. 10 clockwise to obtain a gradual
closing of the air passage and therefore a reduction in
nebulisation (more orange peel effect).
Loosen the handwheel no. 10 anti-clockwise to obtain a gradual
opening of the air passage and therefore an increase in
nebulisation (more orange peel effect).
Never loosen beyond the maximum indicated level (see
drawing coinciding with the appearance of the black seal
applied).
2 Adjustment of product quantity
Tighten handwheel no. 9 clockwise to obtain a gradual
