"Singlehanded" single pole test:
I Place the tip of the black probe (connected
to the COM terminal) on the conductor to be
tested and one tip in the identification zone
for Ph/N.
I In the presence of the phase (if U network >
127 V~) the red LED "PH" flashes.
NB 1 : During "single-handed" testing the
voltage indication is no longer significant.
"Twohanded" two pole test (with voltage
measurement):
I Place the red tip on the first conductor, the
black tip on the second conductor to be
tested and a finger on the Ph/N identification
zone.
I The PH LED flashes if the black tip is
connected to the phase.
The voltage value between the terminals is
indicated on the digital display.
Characteristics and field of use:
- U network > 127 V
Warning: U max with respect to ground = 600 V
- Frequency: 50...60 Hz - ± 5%
WARNING:
If the phase LED is blinking and some Volts are
displayed, make certain that the test probe has
a good electrical contact.
6. CONTINUITY TESTING
RESISTANCE MEASUREMENT
Always run a self-test before using your
multimeter.
Never use it if the self-test is wrong.
Before performing a continuity test make
sure that the circuit to be tested is de-
energized.
I Place the two test probes on the circuit to be
tested. If the display indicates a voltage level,
stop the test: the circuit is energized.
I Press the self test pushbutton/continuity test.
