VOLTAGE FUNCTION TEST
Implementation:
I Check the operation of the device on a known
voltage value: on a 9V battery for instance
and for a voltage network that is known.
Result:
I The expected value must be read on the
display.
I If the self-test is incorrect, change the
battery or proced with repairs.
4. VOLTAGE MEASUREMENT
AUTO AC/DC, POLARITY
Always run a self-test before using your
multimeter.
Never use it if the self-test is incorrect.
Implementation:
I Place the two test probes on the
circuit to be tested.
Voltage measurement
I The presence of a voltage inexcess of 1V
AC or DC on the circuit ensures the
automatic lighting of the display and the
back-lighting as well as the emission of an
audible signal by the buzzer for each
change of ranges.
Characteristics and field of use:
-
Voltage detection: 1V < U < 690V between
phases (600V with respect to ground)
-
Frequency: DC, 50...60Hz
-
High impedance does not switch the differential
circuit breaker.
Max. current at 690V: Is ≤ 3.5mA peak
-
- Automatic implentation for a voltage between
phases in excess of 1V.
- Automatic recognition of DC and and AC for
a voltage between terminals in excess of 1V
- Automatic selection of the range.
- Hold function: freezes the display.
- Automatic stop once the measurement has
been disconnected or after about 10s in Hold
function.
NB 1: The HOLD function does not cancel the
auto-off.
NB 2: Press the auto ON/OFF key to manually
push manually switch ON
