Function
The ServiceJunior and test object are connected to the
hand pump. The pumping process is completed by
repeatedly pressing the hand grips together. An inner
spring repeatedly presses the hand grips apart.
The pumping movements are transferred from the pis-
ton rod to the piston in the pump body. As a result, hy-
draulic fluid is drawn out of the supply tank and forced
to the test object via valves.
If the measuring set-up is vented correctly, the pressure increases quickly. Due to the con-
struction of the test kit, the same pressure is generated in the test object and ServiceJunior.
The pressure can be increased to the required value by means of the fine adjustment valve.
The pressure towards the supply tank can be reduced by means of the pressure release
valve.
To evaluate the test object, the pressure displayed on the ServiceJunior is compared to the
measured value of the test object.
