Function
The ServiceJunior and test object are connected to the hand pump.
The pumping process is completed by repeatedly pressing the hand grips together. An in-
ner spring repeatedly presses the hand grips apart.
The pumping movements are transferred from the piston rod to the piston in the pump
body.
Pressure or a vacuum is generated in the test kit according to the setting of the switchover
valve. Due to the construction of the test kit, the same pressure or vacuum is generated in
the test object as in the ServiceJunior.
The pressure or vacuum can be increased to the required value by means of the fi ne adjust-
ment valve. The pressure or vacuum can be reduced or relieved entirely using the pressure
release valve.
The knurled nut can be used to adjust the pretension of the spring and limit the pump
stroke.
To evaluate the test object, the pressure or vacuum displayed on the ServiceJunior is com-
pared to the measured value of the test object.
