MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
EN
If the water contains too much calcium and magnesium, it may deposit a "white powder" in the device. If this foam is deposited on the
transducer(s) (ceramic ring(s) producing ultrasounds, diagram 1, point 5), this will prevent the device from working properly.
Maintenance:
We recommend:
1. Using cooled, boiled water for each use;
2. Cleaning the reservoir every 2 days and cleaning the transducer(s) every week;
3. Changing the water in the reservoir every 2 days;
4. Cleaning the device and making sure that all its parts are completely dry when it is not in use.
To clean the transducer:
1. Put 2 to 5 drops of vinegar on its surface and leave them there for 2 to 5 minutes.
2. Brush the residue off the surface with a soft brush (cotton bud) (21). Do not use a hard tool to scrape the surface.
3. Rinse the reservoir of the base in clean water.
4. Do not use soap, solvent or spray cleaner to clean the transducer(s).
To clean the reservoir:
1. Clean the reservoir with water using a soft cloth and vinegar if there are residue or limescale deposits on the inside.
2. Rinse the reservoir in clean water.
Storage:
After cleaning and drying the device, store it in a dry, cool place out of the reach of children.
TROUBLESHOOTING
In the event of a malfunction, under normal conditions of use, please refer to the following chart:
Breakdowns
No mist.
Mist has an unusual smell.
Low intensity.

Possible causes
The power is not connected.
The water level in the reservoir is too low.
Too much water in the reservoir.
The temperature of the unit is too low.
The cover is blocked by drops of water or
other objects.
The ceramic disc/transducer wears out
after around 3,000 hours of operation.
The water has been standing in the
reservoir too long.
Too much/little water in one reservoir.
Sediment on the transducer.
The water is too cold.
The water is not clean.
Solutions
Connect the device to the power supply
and press the button.
Add water to the empty reservoir.
Empty water out of the reservoir.
Place the unit in a room at ambient
temperature for half an hour prior to use.
Clean it with a soft brush (cotton bud) and
keep the exhaust vent clear.
Replace the ceramic disc/transducer.
Clean the reservoir and pour fresh water
into it.
Empty the water out of this reservoir or
add water to it.
Clean the transducer.
Use water that is at room temperature.
Clean the reservoir(s) and pour fresh
water in.
