The lamp is flashing.
The lamp is not dimmable.
The minimal dimming level is
set too low.
The dimming profile is incorrect.
There is a PLC malfunction.
The lamp is not suitable.
The dimmer is defective.
The lamp cannot be switched off.
There is leakage current due to
certain dimmable LED lamps or
dimmable economy lamps with
a low electrical load. Leakage
current can also occur due to
capacitive effects of long cabling.
5. USAGE WARNINGS
- PLC control signals that are sent via the mains can interfere with the operation of the dimmer. (This is not a
defect.)
- The dimmer is never electrically separated from the mains due to the operation of the control. In other words
, all parts remain connected to the power even if the load (e.g., the light) is "off".
- This appliance is not suitable for controlling motors.
6. TECHNICAL DATA
- Input voltage: 230V AC ± 10%, frequency 50 Hz
- Mounting: DIN-rail (1 TE = 17.5 mm width)
- Weight: ± 70 g
- Permissible ambient temperature: see power graph
- For use in an environment with a non-condensing humidity (30% - 70%)
- Own power consumption: ± 0.6 W
- Input impedance:
0-10V: 33 kΩ
1-10 V: 22 kΩ
- Maximum temperature of housing (T c ): 90°C
- Maximum wire diameter per connection terminal: 2.5 mm
- Power supply and load: 2 x 1.5 mm
of 1 x 2.5 mm
2
- Input: 2 x 1.5 mm
2
or 1 x 2.5 mm
2
- Minimum load: 5 W
- Protection: thermal overload protection, short-circuit protection
- Complies with the EN 60669-2-1 standards
- Wiring of analogue control:
- Control circuit and power circuit of the dimmer are galvanically isolated.
- The control inputs of the dimmer comply with the requirements for safety extra low voltage (SELV). If the
control signals originate from appliances that also meet the SELV requirements, no specific requirements in
terms of wire diameter or insulation of the control wires apply. You must keep the control wires separate from
the 230V AC wires (min. 10 mm). In this is not the cases, the SELV guarantees do not apply.
- Protection degree: IP20
- Power graph: power according to ambient temperature.

If modular dimmers are fitted near to one another in the electrical cabinet, you can only connect 80% of the
maximum permissible power. A minimal distance of 20 mm is required in order to utilise the full, maximum power.
Also think about ensuring sufficient ventilation in the electrical cabinet. They are often closed-off cabinets, whereby
the internal temperature can increase and the power graph above is applicable.
7. WARNINGS REGARDING INSTALLATION
The installation of products that will permanently be part of the electrical installation and which include
dangerous voltages, shall be carried out by a qualified installer and in accordance with the applicable
regulations. This user manual must be presented to the user. It should be included in the electrical
installation file and it should be passed on to any new owners. Additional copies are available on the

Check if the lamp is dimmable.
This is shown on the packaging
by the following symbol:
Lower the minimum dimming
level or use a profile with boost
function (LED 3, LED 4, LED 7
or LED 8).
Choose another profile and ad-
just the minimum dimming level.
Refer to the FAQ on dimming at
www.niko.eu/faq
Replace the lamp if it flashes
during dimming the light up
and down.
Replace the dimmer
Fit another lamp with a higher
minimum electrical load. Or fit a
LED compensator (09-016-10
or 310-0500x) over the lamp,
between the switching wire and
the neutral conductor.
