MATERIALS
A 1 Tubular Cross Bar
C 1 Centre Part with European facing to 94/20/EC A50-1
D 4 M10 x 90mm Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers and Flat Washers (25mmO.D)
D1 4 Bushes (61mm long – 17mm O.D.)
E 4 M10 x 100mm Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers and 8 Flat Washers (25mm O.D.)
F 4 M12 x 35mm Bolts, Nuts and Lock Washers
CB 2 M16 x 50mm Coupling Bolts, Nuts and Lock Washers
FITTING
1. Remove the bumper (vertical torx head bolts at each side mounting, swing up the metal clip at the tip slide
mounting and release the screws holding the lower arch lining to chassis (one each side)).
2. Attach Cross Bar (A) inside the mountings provided (centre plates towards the body) using Spacer Bushes (D1)
as shown, and Bolts (D) (front bolt has to be inserted upwards) with washers above the frame.
3. Loosely attach the Centre Part (C) to the cross bar with Bolts (F). Attach to the 4 holes provided in the lower
cross frame with Bolts (E), and finally tighten all bolts.
4. Replace bumper.
Note: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally
Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm , M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
