longed exposure to direct sunlight
may cause the colour of the materi-
als and fabric to fade.
• Do not let other children play un-
attended close to the stroller or
climb on it.
• Prevent the stroller from contact
with salty water. It might cause the
formation of rust.
• Do not use the stroller on the
beach.
• When unused, the stroller should
be kept out of reach of children.
TIPS FOR CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
This product requires periodical maintenance. Cleaning
and maintenance operations must be carried out by an
adult.
CLEANING
The cover cannot be removed. Clean all fabric parts
with a damp sponge and neutral detergent. Please refer
to the care labels for instructions on how to clean the
fabric parts. Below are the cleaning symbols and their
meanings:
Wash by hand in cold water
Do not bleach
Do not tumble dry
Do not iron
Do not dry clean
Periodically wipe clean plastic parts with a soft damp
cloth. Always dry the metal parts to prevent the forma-
tion of rust if the folding cot has come into contact with
water.
MAINTENANCE
Lubricate the moving parts only if necessary, with a
light application of a silicone based lubricant. Regularly
check the condition of the wheels and, keep them clean
of dust and sand. To avoid friction that may prevent
correct operation of the stroller, make sure that all the
movable plastic parts along the metal frame are clean of
dust, dirt or sand. Keep the stroller in a dry place.
HOW TO OPEN THE STROLLER
1. Release the closure latch (Fig. 1)
2. Open the stroller (Fig. 2)
3. Push the bar B (see "components") down with your
foot as shown in Fig. 3, until you hear the locking click
sound.
4. To secure the hood, fasten the plastic clips to the rel-
evant pins as shown in Fig. 4A. Then rotate it forward
and fasten the velcro on the rear corners (Fig. 4B).
WARNING: The canopy must be fixed on both sides of
the stroller. Ensure that the hood is correctly secured
into position.
HOW TO ADJUST THE BACKREST
5. The backrest can be adjusted in 2 positions. After un-
fastening the buttons on the backrest (Fig. 5 A), open
the zippers on the sides of the backrest (Fig. 5 B).
Warning: the weight of your child can make this opera-
tion rather difficult. Adjust the backrest without your
child seated in the stroller.
BRAKES
The rear wheels have linked brakes, which can be ap-
plied simultaneously on both rear wheels by using one
pedal alone.
6. To brake the stroller, press the lever on the rear wheel
down as shown in Fig. 6.
WARNING: After enabling the brake lever, make sure
the brakes are properly engaged on both rear wheel
groups.
WARNING: Always apply the brakes whenever the
stroller is stopped. Never leave the child unattended.
WARNING: Never leave the stroller on a sloping surface,
with a child on board, even with the brakes engaged.
WARNING: The brakes do not provide an optimal braking
on steep slopes.
To release the brakes, push the lever on the rear wheel up.
FRONT SWIVEL WHEELS
The front wheels on this stroller swivel.
7. To let the front wheels swivel, push down the lever
between the two wheels (fig. 7). Use the swivel wheels
on smooth surfaces. To lock the wheels, raise the lever.
Warning: the swivel wheels make the stroller easier to
direct; it is recommended to use the wheels in fixed
mode on uneven ground to guarantee better stability
(on gravel, unpaved roads, etc.)
Warning: both wheels must always be locked or un-
locked at the same time.
SAFETY HARNESS
8. All strollers have a 5-point harness.
After placing the child in the stroller, fasten the straps
(Fig. 8A) by passing first the two forks (B) inside the
shoulder strap slot (A) and then fitting them inside the
buckle (C); Adjust the height of the shoulder straps so
that they adhere to your child's shoulders. Make sure
that the belts are always fastened correctly (Fig. 8B). To
unfasten the waist strap, press and pull the side prongs.
Always fasten the safety belts using the crotch strap.
Make sure that the harness straps are fitted correctly.
WARNING: The safety harness must always be fastened
to guarantee complete safety for your child.
